Step Into My Parlor . . .

I met a man named Craig the other day at the River Market Antique Mall.  He has a booth just near mine and has been at the mall for about eight years.  We talked about some interesting stuff and when he showed me pics of his home all done up for Halloween, I knew he was my kind of people.  I like to decorate, but Craig and his partner go ALL OUT!  These pics are from his home, but you can find Craig's treasures at the River Market Antique Mall, second floor, straight ahead, booth on the end of the second row right across from the glass cases.

Happy Halloween

Our friends Kyle and Eve had a fun Halloween party last night.

Very freaky little head twins.

Kyle and Eve's home had so much soul, I couldn't help but be captivated. This cute little crochet demon was made by Casey whose Etsy shop can be found HERE.

He even crocheted his own devil horns.

Loved the art, the paint colors, the moldings, and built in wood work of this fabulous home!

Got a few shots of Kyle's studio.

(I had a David Lee Roth poster similar to this button in my room circa 1984)

They have a huge front balcony and of course, it was decked out, too.

Including this great chandelier!

Loved Eve's studio. It's inspired me to get my shit together and organize my own studio (aka, basement dungeon).

Our friend Ande Parks dressed up like Walter White's drug lord alter ego, Heisenberg.

I think he captured it!

Thanks to Kyle and Eve for such a fun evening!

Happy Halloween!!

This weekend, we visited Elite Comics on 119th and Quivira. Dash had a great time posing for pics.

He was shy at first, but Super Girl got him talking.

I've never seen a pumpkin carved quite like this before.

And Dash had a great time trick or treating with his cousins. As usual, my fabulous mother-in-law outdid herself with the hand made Batman costume.

And we commissioned Kansas City artist Taylor Triano to make another Anton LaVey doll. I won't say who this one is for until he gets it. As usual, little Taylor outdid herself, check out the snake around his neck!

And Jason and I saw The Seafarer at The Unicorn Theater on Friday night. This is a wonderful show and runs through November 7th, so don't miss it!!!!
