Morning Glory Fabulousness

Mom and I ventured out today and stumbled upon Morning Glory Antiques in Westport. This shop is in the old Loma Vista Hardware space and I drove by recently and noticed the NYC caliber styling in the front window and had been dying to check it out. I came away with these awesome hands. Don't they look right at home among the gas masks and such?

This place was awesome. Rick and Don have an eye for "jaw-dropping".



















This wreath is haunting me. Gonna have to go back for it.

And of course, the random family post. Here we were the other night, decorating the tree.

Fervere Bread Company located at 17th and Summit in Kansas City, Missouri, has great bread and a fabulous old-world feel. We were lucky to jump in just in time to buy the last loaf!

For those in Kansas City, if you don't want to chance it, they do take call-in orders!

Friday afternoon, we headed down to Tipton, Missouri for my first ever auction. We found some great treasures once belonging to a woman named Rosie. Some of her family members were there. I'll post pics later of some of my finds. I was so excited about the whole thing, I forgot to take pics of the event, but here's the car after elle worked her packing magic.

I looked at all of this stuff on the ground and thought "no way". But as usual, elle got it neatly and compactly into the car. The girl's got skills.


I've been stocking the booth with lots of fun finds lately including this funky vintage Santa.

These vintage shell and velvet pillows are the bomb.

The mansion in the pic is actually quilted and puffier than the surrounding landscape.

Sales at the mall have been very slow. I'm not sure if this is trend or my stuff just isn't hitting the mark.
